Me, my man and our ride :o)

... you have to start somewhere so we travelled the Southwest of WA earlier this year together with our friend Jübi. It was much fun and the pic shows the first night we spend on some random Beach just outside Albany. It was great: we slept in our swags directly on the beach. Well, it was great once I had overcome my fear of being trapped in my swag and swapped away by a tsunami or freak wave while innocently snoozing through the night...

There is no way around we have to go to the doctor - Aaarrgh!

Ok, I 've made the appointment for our first shots. We need loads of vaccinations against all kind of mean things lurking around Russia & Mongolia, including hepatitis, encephalitis, measles, meninigitis, rabies, typhoid, diphterie, tuberculosis (too name the VIPs)... Air-borne, water-borne, tick-borne - you name it ;o) I just very much hope the vaccinations don't entail the use of gigantic syringes. Unfortunately most of them have to repeated at least once, so medical mayhem is approaching. 

Next thing is getting finally those Russian lessons going - I'm on the job!

I've started our blog - yeah!

Highly motivated after today's trip to ARB I've decided to start the blog, so we can document our progress on preparations for the trip. Still more than 8 months to go - but it may pay off to start early :o)
